Home Again

                                                                    Home Again
                                                                   6" X 12' Pastel
This painting turned out so lovely.  It just flew out of me in such a short time it amazed me. It is a welcoming piece so I named it "Home Again". This painting  will also be going to the show in a couple of days. The companion painting is below.

"To the Barn"
6" X 12" Pastel
I painted this the same day but I struggled a little more with this one.  I think it turned out well though. I can't get enough of pastels. I also love the format and I think I will try doing more.

This is a revised version of the original. I worked on the water a little more. I think this will do.

Alpine View

"Alpine View"  9 X 12  Oil on board.
                                                                By Terry Moss

For all you nature lovers enjoy a walk through the trees. Had a great time painting this. It reminds me of the trip we took above Park City, Utah last year.   Nature- Love, Oil Painting- Love,  Art- Love.

Upper Stillwater

                                                      "Reflection on Upper Stillwater"
                                                         8 X 10 oil on canvas board
                                                                   by Terry Moss

The upper Stillwater is a fabulous place to kayak, for great views of the mountains and to see wildlife of every kind. We had a great time with friends the day I snapped this photo reference. We were sitting on the bank having our lunch and taking it all in. When I finished this painting the other day it made me homesick for Montana. I can't wait for Summer so we can visit again. Next time, I will paint the kayaks.

Purple Sage

"Purple Sage" 9 X 12 oil on board
by Terry Moss

I have been very busy painting lately and this one is fresh off the easel. The Sage brush was beautiful on the mountain side just above the Heber Valley.

"Wellsville Canal" 5X7 pastel on sanded paper

"Wellsville Canal"       5X7      pastel       Terry Moss       $120
Painted on archival sanded paper

Brought out my pastels today. It has been a long time but I managed to paint four small paintings today. There is something about the earthiness of pastel that lends itself to landscapes. I love to use them to paint rural areas and especially marshes and small creeks. Can be purchased on my Etsy
