I love white Hollyhocks. In fact I love white flowers in general.The Beehive House in S.L.C, Utah has the most beautiful white, pink and almost burgundy hollyhocks. It is a never ending source for old fashioned flowers. It is defiantly worth seeing in the summer and early fall.

About this painting:

One single Magnolia on a full sheet of watercolor paper. White flowers are my favorite flowers to paint. I tried to keep this one on the warm side. I love painting big from time to time. this watercolor looks great floating on a soft white mat board.
