"Montana Country Road"

My newest pastel painting.

This view is down the hill from our place in Montana. It is where we take a two mile walk on beautiful days eight months out of the year. My dog can pretty much walk this on her own. It is now covered with snow.

Winter Farm

One of my newest oil paintings. This is similar to the farm land that lies below my house. Many times in the winter the sky's are gray but still the valley is beautiful. Here again are the whites that I love to paint.

I like my pears some what firm.

I started painting these pears when they were green and hard. By the time I was done they were so ripe I could not eat them.
I like to eat my pears some what firm but I came up with a great painting so it made it worth letting them ripen more than I like.
